To me, some of the schools listed above surprised me, namely MIT and UCLA as I recall reading about some very intense pro Palestine protests on campus where Jewish students felt unsafe. Did they already clean up their acts?

I wouldn't get caught up in the details of which college did what. This admin doesn't care. This is all a pretext to exert control on colleges which he (and all would-be autocrats) see as a threat. If you kiss Trump's a-- and do what he says and don't challenge him, you'll get off this list. He's just doing this all as a threat and a warning for them to fall in line. I hope the colleges push back and get great legal counsel.

Trump is petty and vindictive and doesn't have integrity. He won the election, but he'll go down in history as the worst American president. I fully agree but I'm also worried that Trump's heavy-handedness here will create a backlash against Jewish students who attend any of these institutions. Like we'll get blamed for Trump's actions even if we don't support this action of his. [/quote]

So much is unprecedented these days so who really knows, but I’d be very surprised if this happens.

I can see a backslash against Republican students though. Rightfully so.
