What’s your regular size and what’s your Lululemon leggings size?

Someone could squeeze into a size that’s far smaller than what they should be wearing (my sister, who is about an 8-10 in standard sizing does this - she buys size 4). I agree that it’s probably not good for the product and you’ll see pilling issues faster.

I am a 2 in street sizing and wear a 4 in Lulu leggings, including Align. In the past few years I’ve ranged between 107-125 lbs and they always fit fine, but I’d be more likely to size up than down in most Lululemon products. If you’re an M in Target leggings, I’d start with a size 8 and 10 and see which feels better. If it’s feasible to order both and return one pair, I’d do that.

But look at the pic, she doesn't look like she's squeezing down several sizes. She doesn't have a small waist and although stretchy the Aligns are not THAT forgiving.

28-29 jeans, 8 trousers, 10 for Lulu leggings.

V pear shaped, and tall enough that I don’t want to lose length with sideways stretch though. On a good day I have to pull in the waist of the leggings.

Op here. Instead of ordering online, I’ll visit the store closest to me this evening if I get the chance to. I’ll report back here as well. As mentioned, I’m a M in Target leggings though I weigh approximately 179 and I’m 5’3. Pear shape - All thighs, zero butt, small waist/ribcage (s-xxs tops).

I love when OPs report back. Thanks!

That’s the thing, I think they are. Especially if you’re just evaluating what you can fit into (i.e., can pull over your butt).

My sister is about 5’1” and 145 lbs, and I’m 5’4” and 115. We buy the same size. I’m confident I’m wearing the right size - I wear them to run so am definitely not wearing leggings that are too loose.

32 in jeans. 10 or 12 in Lulu leggings.

I wear a size 28 in jeans and a size 4 or 6 in Lululemon. I don't think the instagram influencer is as crazy as some think though, I wore my size 4 aligns all the way through my pregnancy, and basically lived in them the last few weeks. If they could stretch over my 40-week belly, I can believe that a size 18 might be able to squeeze into them.

Those aren't Aligns. They *may* be fast and frees but definitely not Aligns. She's also not a 10 in those. She's lying.

Op here. I decided to go on my lunch break. I now understand especially the stretch on the align one. I could easily get into a 4 align, a 6 in the fast and free and wunder train would probably be the lowest I’d go. It’s all in the material. I’m still amazed that they stretch so well to fit multiple sizes but when I put the six on and pulled out the waist, I can see how it could fit a large build very easily. I don’t like the waist falling down so I would go with the smallest size to have it snug. I’m surprised more women are not sizing down after my visit today, I’m sure they could fit smaller sizes at some of the weights listed here.

This person is a good example:

Same body in three different sizes

I'm usually a 4 long in pants, sometimes a 6 long. But I'm an 8 tall at lulu for sure. (125, 5'9)

I’m an eight in regular clothes and have size 8 Lululemon leggings.

So if I am going for workout leggings, can someone translate what the heck is going on? Maybe I just don't have the tolerance for this brand. I still don't understand wtf is going on.
