What’s your regular size and what’s your Lululemon leggings size?

I’m trying to understand how these fit. A model who is on IG is a regular size 18/20 and buys a size 6 Lululemon align legging.
If I am a M in Target leggings what size am I in lululemon? |

what? I’m a size 28 in jeans and I get a 6 LL leggings. No way is an 18/20 in a 6. |

A size size Lululemon legging will absolutely not fit a person who wears a US size 18 or 20. You are either confused, or the IG model is lying. Yeah, the IG model is definitely lying. |

Same. 4 if I want compression for running. 6 if I want a slightly looser fit but still snug. I’m a 6 in tops |

+1 no way. I’m a 27 in jeans/size 6 and a size 6 in the leggings. There’s on type that’s compression and very high waisted and I prefer an 8 in that one |

Op here. I can’t seem to find a still image for the young lady on Instagram who is 18/20 in jeans.6 in leggings.
I ran a Google search and was able to find another curvier body type that also wears 6/8 bottoms in Lululemon leggings. I’ve scoured Reddit as well. I have a curvier body, pear shaped too, and curious about sizing. Thanks to all who have responded. |

They are lying. The tag may have a 6 in in-16. There is no way that is a 6/8. Just go into a store and hold a pair up. They look child sized before you put them on. |

It depends on the fabric. Align leggings are very soft and stretchy, and sometimes people will size down in those (though I think this is short-sighted because it leads to the fabric stretching out and deteriorating faster, but maybe people don't care about leggings lasting more than a year or two).
