I'm capable but lots of people aren't because they are too young or too old, don't speak English well, don't read well, or don't understand medical terms. But anyway. It's fine for them to give the option of either filling it out beforehand or doing it at the office. I do it before to save time. What is annoying is when you do it before and then get asked all the same questions anyway. |
Of course we will help anyone. Especially if they aren’t able to work the software. We also pay for translators at our own expense if needed. I have no idea why you’re being asked to duplicate information multiple times unless it’s a different form/system. |
| I love a portal where you can actually book an appointment and get a confirmation. It's the "request and appointment" portals that are my biggest pet peeve. So you want me to send you an email to call me? No thanks. I'll just call you now. Ugh. |
| I feel the same way about how everything has an app now and you have to have a log-in and password and download the app and be logged into the app and do it on the app and downloaded a million apps and make another log in and don’t forget your password and unsubscribe to a million emails that comes from downloading the app and |
I have mixed feelings about Kaiser. But even with them, it’s a text and email to say there’s an important message from my provider. But I have to log into the app to get it and click on a million things to get to the message, especially when it’s one of the kids. And then I check and it’s an appointment reminder for an appointment I already confirmed or a reminder to get my flu shot which I already got. The extra steps are annoying . I wish I could opt in to just have most messages go right to email or text without logging in. Also if there’s blood word for example, once a result or two is ready I get the “check the portal” email. But then another value or two is ready and I get another alert. And then the doctor writes their commentary on it an I get another alert. |
