+2 But Anyone remember him from NBC here in DC? What a cutie. |
I've met Hoda in person and can attest she is as nice for real as she is on TV. She worked very hard to get where she is. I agree with what her co-hosts said- its brave to step away at the height of her career.
FWIW she is a Hokie and has family here in the DC area. |
+1. |
She's old. Plenty of people retire at 60. It's not like she's a 40 year old deciding to retire. |
He sounds very dumb to me, but there is no way they will pass over him. |
My 75 year old mom watches. It's dumbed down enough that she can follow and finds its light and fun. Pretty sure it's a fluffy daily "news" show for seniors. It's almost like an infomercial for Amazon crap. My mom has ordered more crap because "it's on the today's show." Very much for old people. |
+1 And she has the most genuine, wonderful things to say about Virginia Tech. Love her. |
Wow, you sound like a charming person and a caring daughter. |
I like Hoda. She’s a survivor of breast cancer and became a mom at old age. She is relatable and provides inspiration to many other women in a similar predicament. If she’s as nice off camera as she is on the show, her kids are have a nice mom. At some point, she must have realized waking up at 4am to go do a tv job including day drinking was not conducive to her health or her kids best interests |
Are lucky to have* |
It’s also a huge hit in doctor and dentist offices/waiting rooms |
Well they stopped the wine segment years ago. They were getting backlash for it. |
People still ask rhetorical questions? |
dp And how old are you, pp? I think age is very relative and I don't think 60 is as old as I used to. There are plenty of things a 60 year old can do. I think it will be interesting when you approach that age whether you will be so dismissive |
And you know this because? |
