Look at this team's site. The have full size popup goals in the picture and no real goals. This is a charity focusing on soccer for a poor community. They don't have resources |
They aren't going to have goals on wheels. I don't think the other teama should have to play on unsafe, non-conforming fields because someone wanted to DIY a rec league when there are many other available local soccer scholarship programs that are actually well run. |
|
They need to go back to Loudoun county and get space on a field that 11v11 games can be played on.
How did NCSL approve this when the field doesn't meet their own listed requirements? |
|
NCSL wants to collect fees. They don't care about whether the field is playable. "Its just rec!" They might be hoping the other orgs offer to donate their paid-for field space and cover the ref fees to avoid having to play on this field, but they really don't care, they got paid.
This is why people who make money professionally off club soccer shouldn't be involved with rec leagues. |
Best case is parents get fed up and sign up for travel- more $$$ for NCSL |

I drive by that school on my commute home, so I stopped and looked today bc I am nosy and saw this thread.
There is no soccer field set up, no lines, no goals, its just a patch of grass and it is not large enough for a soccer game for older kids. The fence runs right thru where part of the game field would be. |
| NCSL does not cruise by all the fields clubs enter, be realistic. If there is an issue, someone needs to let them know about it. Coming here to complain won't solve the issue. |
