We have a high school field that we use for 9v9 and 11v11. The goals take 5 minutes to move off of the field and the flags take a few seconds. It's not a big deal [/quote]

LOL no one uses pop up goals! I have had 2 kids play in NCSL and not even their U9 or U10 games were ever played with pop up goals.

Regardless, I don't think the goals are the issue. If you show up to a nice grass field and there are safely installed popup goals that are the correct size, no big deal. The dealbreaker with this field is that home run fence. There is no way to lay out a soccer field to give enough clearance away from the fence and to have the field be a reasonable size for 11 v 11 play. [/quote]

Look at this team's site. The have full size popup goals in the picture and no real goals. This is a charity focusing on soccer for a poor community. They don't have resources [/quote]
