Ncsl schedule, field at Sterling Elementary?

My U16 son's team is scheduled to play a game here against an org I have never heard of.
There's not a soccer field at Sterling ES. Unless one was recently built?

There's a piece of grass field next to a baseball field but its not a soccer field or big enough to turn into an 11v11 field.

What's the name of the new org?

"Club Deportivo Sterling" ??????

I would hope that they mean the adjacent high school field

Just looked it up as I have never heard of it either-all their teams no matter the age are scheduled for home games at Sterling ES, but there is definitely no field there. Weird.

U16 boys will kill each other on a tiny grass field, wth!?

Aren't there standards for the fields used? Size of field, size of goals, condition of field?

That's where the opposing coach e-mails the Sterling coach the league rules and tells them they aren't agreeing to a non-regulation field

Their webpage says Sterling -
Maybe that empty field got lined?

NCSL should not be scheduling games on dangerous fields.

Look at the satellite view and compare it to the football field at next door.

No way is that enough space for a full-sided game for high school boys.
Tell your coach to insist it be switched to a home game on your club's extra field space.

Per the satellite view, there is no way to line that field to the correct size.
You would need the field lines to be a good bit away from that outfield fence for the baseball field to prevent the players from slamming into a metal fence.

This Saturday, they have a 9v9 (U11) game scheduled, and then a u13 and U16 game. 9v9 games are a different size field and much smaller goals than 11v11 games. Are they going to be moving goals around and resetting the field after every game?

I bet they only hire one ref as well.
