Does this only apply to Democrats?

Barron is now an adult who has assumed a public role in his father’s campaign. So, he’s fair game.

Plus being an intentional psychopath is a wee bit different than having a disability.

What public role has Barron assumed?

He is campaigning for his father

Citation? I have never even heard Barron speak. If he is campaigning for his dad, he’s doing it without speaking. But I am sure you will have some links to back up your claim.

He just started. But regardless, I think we should leave him alone. He is still young (even if a legal adult) and still has growing to do.

“Barron stood up and waved to the supporters in attendance at his father’s request, before giving a thumbs up to the crowd as they clapped and cheered.“

So this is Barron “campaigning for his father?” Standing in the crowd and waving and giving a thumbs up to the crowd?

In your opinion, is the child of a candidate campaigning for the candidate if they are present at their rallies or events? Even if they don’t speak or release any statements or give any interviews?

So it is ok for Gus to be brutalized on social media but Barron is off limits eventhough he is of legal age and Gus isn't?

Gus will be fair game when he’s 18.

Tim Walz posted on Facebook his son’s birthday is October 13.

No. Be the grown up and don’t bully college kids either. When they are independent adults active in their parent’s administration, THEN they are fair game.

Gus sounds like a young person who grew up not seeing much of his father. My heart aches for him.

And you sound like something that doesn't have a heart to ache for anyone.

Why is it that no one denigrates the kids when the parents are representatives, senators or governors (like Walz), but as soon as the parent runs for president or vice president it's suddenly okay to post mean stuff? WTF.

If he’s showing up at the convention, then he’s actively participating, right?

There sure are. No legit websites are carrying them yet though.

+1 Yeah I think it’s weird that kids are arriving at colleges and it’s still a state secret where he’s going, but I haven’t seen prominent Democratic politicians/authors/pundits/surrogates saying anything about it.

Did you forget the SNL skit making fun of Giuliani and son?

I knew there would be a reaction like this as soon as the camera hit him last night. I also have a teenage son with special needs.

Would you be comfortable putting your son in that environment (knowing cameras and social media exposure)?

Considering it’s been literally 30 years, maybe they’re not even aware of it.

Those aren’t the rumors. But I’m also not putting the rumors “on paper” so to speak. If there’s anything there, it’ll come out sooner or later.
