I live in Takoma Park. I’m voting for Trump!

I judge all people who put up signs where it is clear that it will make no difference in the outcome -- it shows me that they're very stupid because they don't understand how our electoral system works.

How about they put up signs because they want to express their freedom of expression? You aren't superior so please don't look down on others

I judge. Silently. I'd literally ever say anything, but I would think OP is stupid.

BTW you are probably Latina from one of the countries that had trouble with socialism. Trump brings us closer to that because he's a populist president. Look at his words in context of our history and country, not that of a different country.

OP here and yes I am a Latina immigrant but I will remind you that I am not a Republican, I am registered independent. I actually agree with Democrats about a lot of things and I don’t think they are “socialist” in that way.
My one issue is immigration. Try to understand from my perspective. I came here legally, I worked REALLY HARD to follow the process, obey all the rules, and work my way up once I got here. I worked hard and earned my citizenship to have safety and a better life for my family. Now our chaotic border policy, whether you agree that it’s “open borders” or not, they are letting in the very people I worked so hard to escape. Violent criminals and gangs that come here and get amnesty. You say that violent criminals are not allowed here and get deported but they are getting through the cracks and have shown up here in Montgomery County making it less safe. So I am voting for Trump to close all the holes in our border policy. Enough already. And I would be happy to engage with my neighbors if they wanted to know why I’m voting for Trump. If they knew my story they would understand how angry I am about this. Imagine spending over a decade of your life doing everything correctly and finally feeling yourself free of a country run by violent gangs only to have your new home open to the same gangs you thought you were safe from.

Trump tanked the Senate bipartisan immigration agreement when he was President, so not to give a "win" to anyone other than himself. Does that sounds like a guy who wants immigration reform, or a guy who wants to spew talking points?

Feel free to put up the Trump sign to show your neighbors you suffer from brain damage.

If Trump becomes president, his administration will start deporting people, and they will not care that you came here legally. It will be deport first, maybe ask questions later. I don't mean this as a threat (I oppose mass deportation), I mean it as a statement of what I think is likely to happen. But you get to make your own decision about voting, and also about putting up a sign in your yard.

No he didn’t “tank” any bipartisan immigration legislation when he was president. But Biden did fail to get bipartisan legislation passed. Some blame Trump for that. I think it’s more complicated - I think the Dems “tanked” Trump’s most effective policies (the big, beautiful wall and Remain in Mexico).

Sure.
What do you think about Trump’s past handling of immigration issues?
What do you think about the Trump administration’s plans for implementing Project 2025?
When they start sweeping up supposed “illegal immigrants” how positive are you that legal immigrants will be unscathed— or that the justice system that Trump will continue to put in place will intervene if they are not?

I could disagree with your points, but I doubt that someone who would choose a neighborhood to live in — only to ask random anonymous strangers who mostly don’t live in that neighborhood to comment on her neighbor’s possible reactions to her deliberately politically provocative behavior would care.
Please put up your sign. Engage with your neighbors. Let us know how it goes.
The supposed immigrant asking for advice trolling is getting smoother. Perhaps that’s always been a trend prior to elections?

Keep tapdancing for the white man, you so desperately hate being latino

You're an awful person voting against your interests. They do not like latinos, they want us deported.

Latino and black Trumpers are so pathetic. I feel sorry for them.

True conservatives aren't pro trump.

They are now when the other option is a socialist who's trying to take away my private health insurance.

The best sign I've seen so far says "i'm voting for the candidate that's fit to stand trial."

You’ll be ostracized and your tires will be popped or something. The party of tolerance isn’t actually tolerant at all.

Nobody knows that I’m voting for Trump. I’m a legal immigrant and registered independent. I want to exercise my right to free speech, and it would say a lot positively about America to be unafraid to dissent from the opinion of 90% around me. But do you think I would risk vandalism or social harm to my family?

Wow you are dumb
Dictatorship get a dictionary
Vandalism is not from Dems troll God you MAGAs are the dumbest people on Earth. You fall for everything and lack any common sense; you couldn’t think your way out of a simple math problem if it was life or death, even if you had a calculator.

Stole from sick kids with cancer
Stole from Ny 9/11 first responders
Project 2025 Agenda 47 installation starting day one with Stephen Millers white replacement strategy
Installed day one
Higher taxes for all middle and lower class fact

Wow you are exercising your right to vote woo hoo telling the whole world you are stupid

Since when do dictators allow a right to vote?
Since when do dictatorships not charge king taxes?
Since when are the not bread lines in dictatorships?
Best of all guns hahahaha

You do you
Right to vote will be taken away forever no term limits

Trolling is fun
