I live in Takoma Park. I’m voting for Trump!

Oh, it's the old "gotcha" about being a hypocrite if you're intolerant of intolerance or hate hatred.

If I lived in a MAGA enclave, I would not put a Harris sign on my lawn or otherwise show my political leaning. I would want to keep a good working relationship with my neighbors.

But you do you.

I find political signs trashy.

I think this must be a troll. If they really lived in Takoma Park, they would know exactly what would happen.

And Christians.

I split my time between Silver Spring and the deep red county in NC where I grew up, and I've definitely seen more Trump stuff in Silver Spring than I've seen stuff for Democrats back home.

I would be really surprised if anyone did anything to your sign but sure you are going to get the sideeye.

In my neighborhood a bunch of people who had Trump signs in the past don’t have them up this time (but some do and that’s fine).

I just think Takoma Park residents can be hypocrites just like anyone else. There is an air of superiority if you think yards signs mean anything when you fight tooth and nail to keep MOCO’s school zoning so that you go to a ‘good’ school.

What tooth-and-nail fighting are you referring to? MCPS has not proposed any boundary changes that affect Takoma Park.

TP conservative here. I have a feeling there are a fair number of us, just not advertised with yard signs.

Sometimes 99% of people are doing one thing because it's the safest thing to do. And dissenting from them just make you an idiot. I don't ever say this but please go back to your original country rather than vote for him. You don't deserve the freedoms Americans have if you want to vote to take more of them away.

Seems intentionally provocative. I don’t believe this is a sincere question.

If you are genuine and feel strongly about promoting this candidate the opposing opinion should not really factor in. Speak your mind by putting the sign up.

It would be categorized as a hate crime. You will be arrested.

Clearly you're looking to provoke people, and show them up for being hypocrites.

Go ahead, OP. You will certainly receive the attention you seek.

I judge. Silently. I'd literally ever say anything, but I would think OP is stupid.

BTW you are probably Latina from one of the countries that had trouble with socialism. Trump brings us closer to that because he's a populist president. Look at his words in context of our history and country, not that of a different country.
