I live in Takoma Park. I’m voting for Trump!

True conservatives aren't pro trump.

They are now when the other option is a socialist who's trying to take away my private health insurance.

Lol. Is that what FOX has told you? Yet you’re fine with taking away Grandma’s Medicare? I guess you don’t expect to live long enough to need it?

For the sake of your argument, having a public option won’t take away your option to purchase private platinum level plans for yourself, or to pay out of pocket for providers and services that aren’t covered by a plan.

I judge. Silently. I'd literally ever say anything, but I would think OP is stupid.

BTW you are probably Latina from one of the countries that had trouble with socialism. Trump brings us closer to that because he's a populist president. Look at his words in context of our history and country, not that of a different country.

OP here and yes I am a Latina immigrant but I will remind you that I am not a Republican, I am registered independent. I actually agree with Democrats about a lot of things and I don’t think they are “socialist” in that way.
My one issue is immigration. Try to understand from my perspective. I came here legally, I worked REALLY HARD to follow the process, obey all the rules, and work my way up once I got here. I worked hard and earned my citizenship to have safety and a better life for my family. Now our chaotic border policy, whether you agree that it’s “open borders” or not, they are letting in the very people I worked so hard to escape. Violent criminals and gangs that come here and get amnesty. You say that violent criminals are not allowed here and get deported but they are getting through the cracks and have shown up here in Montgomery County making it less safe. So I am voting for Trump to close all the holes in our border policy. Enough already. And I would be happy to engage with my neighbors if they wanted to know why I’m voting for Trump. If they knew my story they would understand how angry I am about this. Imagine spending over a decade of your life doing everything correctly and finally feeling yourself free of a country run by violent gangs only to have your new home open to the same gangs you thought you were safe from.

Trump tanked the Senate bipartisan immigration agreement when he was President, so not to give a "win" to anyone other than himself. Does that sounds like a guy who wants immigration reform, or a guy who wants to spew talking points?

No he didn’t “tank” any bipartisan immigration legislation when he was president. But Biden did fail to get bipartisan legislation passed. Some blame Trump for that. I think it’s more complicated - I think the Dems “tanked” Trump’s most effective policies (the big, beautiful wall and Remain in Mexico).

Keep tapdancing for the white man, you so desperately hate being latino

People can vote for whoever they want and not everyone has the same opinions as you. This is exactly why Dems are losing minority voters because they act like they are entitled to their votes and that people must think a certain way due to being a minority.

I live in Takoma DC. Somebody stole my "Vote for Love" yard sign the other day. The design was artwork by a neighbor kid. Annoying.

Four years ago someone stole my Biden sign. Annoying

Nope. True conservatives are never Trumpers.

Probably not FOX, spanish TV is way worse than FOX news.

I don’t live in Takima part but I would avoid socializing with you and feel sorry for your kids (but would not discourage my kids from hanging out with yours or anything like that — I don’t judge kids by their parents).
I know lots of Republicans and am fine with them but the only people I know who are still Trump supporters are either very dumb or very mean people. Some of the normal republicans supported him in 2016 but by now it’s pretty clear what he represents and it is ignorance, spite and chaos. And I just don’t have any interest in socializing with those people.

I have spent 20 years legally in the US, trying to get a green card, OP, and my battle is still not over.

I am still very sympathetic towards migrants escaping gangs and poverty.

I would never, ever, vote for a serial liar, rapist, cruel and mentally disturbed individual such as Trump. I know such a candidate in my home country - I have always voted to keep that person out of power.

You are ignorant and stupid. I feel sorry for you.

Nobody knows that I’m voting for Trump. I’m a legal immigrant and registered independent. I want to exercise my right to free speech, and it would say a lot positively about America to be unafraid to dissent from the opinion of 90% around me. But do you think I would risk vandalism or social harm to my family?

I'm assuming you are white. If you aren't, a Trump sign in your yard won't protect you from racism, discrimination and, possibly, violence by your white skinned Trump supporting counterparts. Good luck to you.
