"Black Jobs"

Gen Z is right there with them

Blacks will always vote D. It’s against their best interests to vote R and they know it. That would be the end of every benefit and social safety net they enjoy.

"These Negroes, they're getting pretty uppity these days and that's a problem for us since they've got something now they never had before, the political pull to back up their uppityness. Now we've got to do something about this, we've got to give them a little something, just enough to quiet them down, not enough to make a difference... I'll have them nxxxers voting Democratic for the next two hundred years".

This really is a racist remark. No, black people do not vote for Ds because of all of their freebies. White people get more benefits than black people do. It's a racist trope.

I, as a black attorney, won't vote for a party that I know is racist, not because I need a handout from anyone. I paid off my law school loans. All $130,000 of it. Thank you very much.

So refreshing to have a black GOP voter on dcum.

I think you're mistaken I think PP meant they vote the Democratic party.

As disgusting as that was, it’s important that we not forget.

LBJ did a lot of good for this country but he was not a good man.

LBJ did a lot of good for this country but he was not a good man.

He was a real sonova____ that’s for certain (and Robert Caro has one more volume in which to finish telling the story!) but LBJ died fifty years ago, and did a lot of good. He was a complex man and not an orange faced circus clown like Trump and his racism are. Meanwhile in the last week Trump has reduced Black people’s working lives to “Black jobs,” because that’s how deep his racism is.

I'm black and I'm shocked at how pissed off folks are - especially black males.

Another invented outrage, like microaggressions & cultural appropriation. Why don’t you focus your alleged outrage on whoever is allowing the millions of illegal immigrants to roam the country? At least that’s a real problem.

Microaggressions are very real. Please don't tell me what to focus on. It's my life and my experience.

Says the white male who is only accustomed to be privileged and doesn't even recognize that he is on a pedestal looking down on others.

You don't even realize that you started the race ahead of everyone else, and you think that all you've achieved is solely based on your own merits and that the minorities just don't work as hard as you have.

So what. Democrats believe that Hispanics were only put on earth to pick their gluten-free-non-GMO-organic strawberries.

I am a former democrat of color who said I would not be voting for Biden. Maybe I’ll vote for Trump or I won’t vote. I have not decided.

I will say that Trump is an old school racist. It’s those white boomer prejudices. I said this before and I’ll say it again: he REALLY needs to start looking at people of color and seeing his own kids, his parents, his family. He doesn’t get that we are just people. And just like whites, some of us are low income (what he means when he says “black jobs” and “Hispanic jobs”). And some of us are doctors and lawyers and c-suite executives.

He needs an education in this immediately.

Hmm. That sounds more like your right winger feelings about what Democrats think rather than anything Democrats believe.
