Question for someone who knows: is there anything voters can do to actually convince Biden to step aside?

I mean, Michelle Obama never ran a country for 3.5 years.

Jill Biden is the experienced one. Is she being passed over for some kind of DEI reason?

Jill can’t even control the family dog

Jill hates dogs and children.

She needs to agree to a graceful exit in order for Biden to step aside. He’s probably already had the conversation that he can’t step aside to let her run because she has a worse shot than he does. At least before the debate that was true, not sure where we are now but I suspect the same place.

I voted for Biden as a transitional president with the understanding that he would promote Harris next. I know so many are saying people do te like her bit is that really true? If so I am so disillusioned with the D party.

Don't care. Shut up and vote D.

It is actually a great opportunity for D to reorganise and to disassociate themselves from DNC and crazy left who took over the DNC. It is better to lose one election, than to lose our country.

That’s a feature not a bug. These are not good people.

This is what sinks the ship.

I read today that DNC is reaching out to swing state voters and listening to big donors. Honestly, eff them. If they don’t care about people in all states and regular donors, that’s their problem. Not the voters’. If that means Trump wins the election, that’s squarely on Biden and the DNC.

Sure it’s squarely on Biden and the DNC but what comfort does that give you, to be able to blame them? I don’t care whose fault it is. I want to avoid another Trump presidency at all costs. It doesn’t make me feel better to say, “well if this fails, we know who to blame.”

This is me. If Kamala is disliked so much why in the world was she picked as a running mate for a man in his late 70s who could pass at any time.

I did. I said so on this very board that Joe shouldn’t run again because he would be 82 on Election Day. I was told by more than one poster—probably posters that now desperately want him to step down—that we need Joe to run because he beat Trump once before.

People pretended that we don’t decline as we age, and now reality is smacking them in the face.

Because he had a cold during the debate.

The cold miraculously disappeared in North Carolina the NEXT DAY.

How does that happen?

A slice of the population will believe (or say) ANYTHING! And then complain about others lieing.

I think she has become less well liked. She did well as a senator who acted like a prosecutor in hearings with other unlikable people.

She’s not much of a leader, it seems.

She cannot put words together except to serve us some word salad and she is incoherent like her boss. At least Joe doesn't annoy with that weird laughing she does instead of providing an answer when asked a question.

Strange that there isn’t the same zeal to remove the candidate on the GOP side as there is on the Dem side. Because Trump is not fit to serve in all ways.

On the bright side, both of them are quite old. Not to be morbid but there is always the possibility one or even both candidates may not make it to November.
