It’s silly to have to spell this out but the random behavior of some criminals who took advantage of the big crowds in the summer of 2020 is entirely different than an organized, planned attack on a government building with the intent to steal an election - planned by people in government no less - some of whom were sworn to present and defend the constitution. Not everyone who showed up to hear Trump speak on January 6 is a criminal, but everyone who went in the Capitol or attacked someone is.
