Because I think sometimes democrats win and sometimes republicans win and I don’t think either party’s president is intentionally trying to destroy the country. Democrats are sure every republican elected is going to destroy America. |
So did those officers get arrested and charged? |
So it’s your own invention of an idea and not remotely what Democrats have said. You probably think that Project 2025 isn’t real, just as you’re willing to downplay the GOP’s treason with Russia (and China, though I saw less overt stuff with them), just as you’re willing to pretend that January 6th was just a random set of tourists and the feds who urged them on. People like you are not taken seriously. |
So the “accomplice” capitol police that opened the doors and let protesters in the capitol haven’t been arrested and sentenced to prison, have they? |
Why would they? There are enough fascist right wingers tunneled in all over the government and they’re happy to both sides our country into the grave. |
So people that stormed the capitol are being put in prison for entering the capitol, but the capitol police who opened the doors and let them in are not being charged? That really doesn’t make any sense. |
Neither does the "ANTIFA dressed as Trump supporters going to prison for Trump" make sense, but that doesn't quell the narrative. |
Why not? Show me where the police are held responsible for crimes they commit, especially crimes that, if pressed, they could argue they were doing to keep themselves safe. The people storming the capitol were acting offensively and though I am not a lawyer, that seems like it is easier to prosecute than someone smugly stepping aside. And those fascist cops who smugly stepped aside and all but welcomed the foot soldiers in. |
Can you stop using the word fascist. You don't even know WTF it means. Fascism (/ˈfæʃɪzəm/ FASH-iz-əm) is a far-right, authoritarian, ultranationalist political ideology and movement,[1][2][3] characterized by a dictatorial leader, centralized autocracy, militarism, forcible suppression of opposition, belief in a natural social hierarchy, subordination of individual interests for the perceived good of the nation or race, and strong regimentation of society and the economy. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fascism#References |
That doesn’t make sense, Capitol police opened the doors to let protesters in. They are easily identified in video. So why are they being given a pass? |
| No OP! My people got massacred in the Holocaust. We all need to pay attention to what is going on. Fascism happens when people tune out and give up. |
This is what's known as a "self own". |
That’s illustrating the point I am trying to make. Democrats say everyone who is not a democrat is a fascist. Capitol police are fascists. Only democrats are pure and good and kind and just. If democrats don’t win, America is doomed. As an independent I don’t think that everyone but democrats are fascists and if democrats don’t get elected every time America is doomed. It’s so off putting to listen to democrats now. Like op I am numb and all I see are hysterical attacks on everyone in America but democrats by democrats. I don’t even like republicans but democrats are getting on my last nerve. |
Respectfully, are you trying to say there will be something like the Holocaust in the United States? |
So… the Republican Party of today in a nutshell. I use “fascism” to describe the GOP because that’s the most accurate word. Christian nationalism also applies to many Republicans, certainly Sam Alito. “Traitors” also applies to many, but not all. I know what fascism means. You had to go look up a definition and you seem unaware that you described your party to a t. |
