Oglethorpe (in the Buckhead area of Atlanta) is another. They have a guaranteed flagship match. |
We loved Oglethorpe but it's not large and social like JMU, if that's what OP is looking for. |
Thanks, grandma. I was responding to a different post. |
Not based on last admission cycle. |
NP. The “huh” response just makes you look like an idiot trying to be clever. Last admission cycle was different. They’re becoming more selective due to overwhelming number of applicants. |
| The JMU boosters don’t understand what selective means. Hint, 69% isn’t close. See UVA for an example of selective, not VT. |
Ignorant. Shows you aren't from instate NoVa. |
Post the acceptance rate for your school. |
This. Emory > GT > UGA |
Mostly Auburn and Clemson… |
You JMU fappers have been parroting this NoVa line for years. Facts are facts. JMU is a decent second-level state school in the vein of Miami-Ohio or College of Charleston, but nothing more than that. Regardless of where you're from, getting in is the basic expectation, not a lofty achievement. |
Anti JMU troll |
Compared to Georgia Southern it’s the Harvard of the Sunbelt! |
VT is barely below 60 and GMU greater the 90 |
Nonsense. As recently at 2019 JMU had a lower acceptance rate than VT. Get over yourself. |
