THIS.

Fair point for those families that don’t want to go for the reasons stated above. I agree completely.

But it falls flat for me if you say it’s too expensive but you were one of the families that blew it up in the first place by prioritizing Seattle with VDA. Or you say you are worried about playing time or positioning or fitting with new coaches or a few different kids that FCV might bring along to California but you blew it up in the first place by joining a whole new team to play for the first time in Seattle with VDA. Or if you don’t want to go to California because FCV can’t compete at a high level since the team won’t be prepared - but you haven’t been to practice in a month.

If that’s you just go. No hard feelings. But these coaches have enough to deal with. Not fair for them to think about you for even a minute.

Blame on VDA for letting the new players go to playoffs - unfair for the current players.

That's pretty low for VDA to tell some of their current players, that they will not be rostered for playoffs, or have seriously reduced playing time, in order to make room for these new FCV players that are joining next season?

VDA treats players leaving like s—, whether they want them back or not. They are worse about it than the other big clubs. Not sure why that isn’t common knowledge on this board, but has been the case with their current leadership for years.

+1000 vda is the most toxic club in nova.

I don’t get it. If all the players leaving FCV are choosing not to travel because they have accepted other offers, are going to play in a new club’s tournament, or are following a coach somewhere else, why couldn’t FCV just bring in the new players they have recruited for next year? My assumption was this wasn’t allowed but it seems if others are allowing it why not FCV?

Ha ha. Because they still haven’t been able to recruit enough players for next year.

The new players are watching and look forward to competing against your new team.

What new players? 90% of the players at FCV tryouts were current players that have committed to other clubs next season.

FCV does have new players, but unlike their current players, those new players are fulfilling their commitment to their current team and finishing their seasons. They are not turning their back on current teammates to play for a new team this season!

Do you mean like the coaches who turned their back on the current FCV players and the Admin namely AB and DR who remained at FCV turned their back on the current players? And the new guy from France who ignored the requests of the current players? Oh and the lies that the current players have been told for their entire lifespan with the St.James that they were going to have a permanent field location? Which turning of back are you referring to? F U to all those people criticizing the current and former players. We helped build this club and you shat on us.

Still clueless. Most of the new coaches are clueless. I've seen the new players and they suck. The DR favorites also suck. I predict a wakeup call by the GA 2 players moving up that your dream of playing at a higher level will be short lived. 1-2 girls may survive but most will be going up against a brick wall next year.

Come on, those GA 2 level players are fantastic and will do just fine in National competitions.

If "do just fine" means they will show up and play three games, then yes, they'll "do just fine." I guess that's better than some of the FCV teams who won't even be showing up for Nationals as they don't have players to play....
