I went to college at Ohio State and live in the Short North in Columbus. On average, the gay men did not look like the straight men.

I mean, they do if you are only looking at the top 1/3 of straight men. There just aren’t a lot of dudes below a 4.

The data clearly show that men rate women's looks fairly. It is a bell curve distribution nearly centered around 5/10. You'd expect the average looking girl to be rated 5/10 by men, which is exactly how men ARE rating women.

The same should be true for me , yet women appear to have an insane perception of how an average male should look like with the mean skewed towards a 1 or 2 out of 10. It says a lot about the unrealistic expectations women have for looks.

If you had taken the time to read the replies from, you would understand that women look for more than just appearance. Men are almost only interested in appearance (which you're only reinforcing here). Men with reasonably high paying jobs that can at least hold a conversation and don't wear clothes full of holes and stains have a really good chance of finding a partner. I'd suggest working on yourself and towards a higher paying career.
