Is he a yeller to?

"That makes no sense......" IYKYK |
| I can’t ever remember school being called off for rain… |
| I bet nobody here posting about yellers ever played a minute for a D1 college team or maybe even High School. |
Yelling at adults on a college team or even high schoolers is quite different than yelling at 10, 11, 12 year olds |
THE WAY IT HAS ALWAYS BEEN IS THE WAY IT SHOULD ALWAYS BE! BAH! |
The culture of yelling at young female players is the same culture that accepted other forms of abuse which has been rampant in women's soccer. Young girls broken down and taught not to question a coach. |
An old yeller |
Stop. |
Agreed. Clubs and leagues need to STOP allowing coaches to yelling/screaming at young players. It is abuse! |
|
Yellers simply have not effectively taught at practice so they yell at games because they view the outcome as their own success or failure. They want to win, it is not that they want to teach and develop.
Leaving your child year after year to play for yellers is a form of child abuse. Parents have to take responsibility |
True |
If the quality of your players are too low to grasp what you're trying to teach at practice, yelling at them on Saturday doesn't make it any better. |
| When my daughter was born and I held her in my arms for the first time, my only thought was "When she turns ten I hope she plays for a coach like Bobby Knight". |
😂 We’re probably on the same team. I don’t miss that for a second. |
