I’m not going to name names but that’s a frequent flyer on this message board (and that’s nothing) and it was a scrimmage.

How can the board thing that its ok to put something like that as the highlight with the Coach yelling like that? Put some music over it?

Why would a BSC coach scream if they score a goal? That was the other coach who you can look on the schedule and see. But i'm not sure why you are complaining, the coach was trying to tell the player what to do.

No, it’s 100% the BSC coach (who is also telling the names of the girls on his team). But why is a fair question - he was so focused at yelling at a girl who did something wrong that he lost sight (literally) of the goal. Whats really crazy is that BSC posted this to their feed without taking out the audio. That tells you everything you need to know about what the club will tolerate as acceptable behavior for a grown man screaming at 11 and 12 year old girls.

This is nothing new about BSC. It’s bad enough that they yell during games but they also yell during practices.

Just watched video and who ever is saying it's BSC coach is a complete idiot. I'm sorry but true. The video clearly shows the BSC bench with the coach giving the goal a few claps and turning around. The coach yelling is the opposition complaining about the bad throw in and then for his defender to get back. SMH

Which of the coach’s words were inappropriate, or was it just his volume? He was on one side of the field and the player was on the other side, so there was no way for the coach to teach the player in the moment without raising his voice. Screaming (expressing extreme emotion) is not ok, but you can’t coach soccer (or any sport played on a large field) without substantially raising your voice with some frequency. The coach in this clip is doing the latter, and using it to support the premise of this board undermines what you’re trying to accomplish.

I did this. Slow day at work. This was a game against Match Fit Academy on 2/11. All the names match. It is very clearly the Match Fit coach that's yelling and specifically mentions two of his players. The Bethesda coach merely says "Keep going" and "Go. one v. one. go."

I don't have a kid at Bethesda. If you're trying to prove a point about yelling Bethesda coaches, this certainly isn't the video to use.

Agree. There’s much worse ones floating around on the internet and in many players/parents Veo accounts.
