I find it mixes better with yogurt by stirring than with liquids?

If I'm making a smoothie with milk or adding water to it I have better luck with a blender or shaker cup, respectively.

Do you have a shaker cup you recommend?

Eggs for breakfast, chicken for lunch, more meat for dinner.

The Perfect Shaker works best for me.

It has a plastic rod that inserts into the lid of the bottle, and the metal rings move up and down the rod mixing the powder.

It helps to remove the mixer afterwards to make it easier to drink, but I've found they work the best

I like it plain. Or with chives / everything bagel seasoning.

But there are a ton of recipes online that will change the taste, and keep the benefits.

Collagen is not a complete protein in that it doesn't contain all of the "essential" 9 amino acids, so keep that in mind.

Thanks. I did a little poking around last night and couldn’t find a consensus on it.

Well, it does say right on the package of the powdered collegan containers that it is not a source of dietary protein

Specifically because the blender "ball" is both effective and easy to clean, and the whole setup is dishwasher safe. They also last a long time, and don't tend to retain flavors/smells.

Thanks! I've never tried and it seems like a great option.

I hope their health is back on track very soon, OP. You and your DH are good people. I will say a prayer for your family.

Regarding the clumpy protein powder, it breaks up easily in yogurt. For adding to coffee I just use a premade shake, it mixes in and tastes good as a sub for coffee creamer.

I also throw the shakes in the freezer and pretend I’m having a milkshake.
