He should have been tried as an adult. He did some pretty heinous crimes.

I hope this guy gets expelled if he is in school. No one should have to go to school with someone like that.

I hope Arlington, VA gets blasted in the national news for this too.

Groping = “heinous”?

wow thanks for revealing yourself. yes, hiding in the bushes to jump out and grope FIVE women (while filming it!) is heinous and pretty much proof of a very disturbed mind. I don’t think he should be in jail but probably some kind of residential treatment facility for at least a year. something is seriously wrong with him.

Please. These sexual assaults are closer to pranks than a heinous crime.

We have people here who think that a 17 YO who sexually assaulted numerous women should get a light sentence because he is just a kid and needs reforming.......

So, you are getting an idea who are voting in the prosecutors and others who are responsible for sentencing and enforcing our laws.
It explains a lot.

They want "criminal justice reform." That is, until the criminal comes for them.

What do you think is an appropriate sentence for a minor who groped someone?

Considering that this appears to be a pattern of behavior...... More than juvy.
And, he should NOT be allowed back to HS. He can finish HS and get a degree in an alternative program.
I question whether sexual assaulters can be reformed. And, we see time and time again where "minor" assaults progress to more heinous assaults.
We shall see with this guy.

How long in regular jail for a minor who gropes a woman?

Do the courts have control over school placement?

I'd be ok with this if his parents were charged with something. If your 17 year old minor is attacking women, guarantee shiatty parenting was the cause.

wtf is wrong with you? it is not a “prank” to stalk and jump women at night to grab their genitals and film it.

He grabbed the crotch of her pants. No genitals were touched.

I mean, when you put it like that, it's almost the definition of prank.

Cool. Why don’t we have a 6’8” 300 lb male play this prank on you and see how you like it?

Well, just wait til a woman shoots him or stabs him in self defense for "pranking" her in the genitals.

I think that guy was found guilty. He was President though, so I guess that was different.

Vote for legislators or prosecutors that will demand harsh sentences.

Who are these candidates?

Democrats, in a nutshell.

Yep. You broke it. You own it.

OK. This seems like a reasonable sentence to me. Next?

Sure. Until he grabs you or your daughter - or worse. Then you'll be outraged that he was never properly sentenced. But for now, it's all good. Just someone else's loved ones.

It’s ok, the state will be parenting him long term, why should they put in that kind of effort?
