Did you really reuse a subzero fridge from like 1994? The condenser grills and handles haven’t looked like that for about 30 years. What else did you cheap out on?

🤮 Good luck, OP, on selling this soulless house for that thriving Bethesda family.

I was told that term means sex. Does the description really say that? I’m not clicking on link.

It really does say that! I lifted it right off the house description. 🤦🏻‍♀️

Wow that part is amazing. This thread just keeps getting better.

Blacks, dark greys, even very dark greens are very hot right now. It’s the evolution away from the “all white” with black trim. I think it’s very dramatic and looks very nice on the right home.

This is not the right home for a dark exterior. It’s the same elevation that’s being built all over Bethesda right now. Nothing unique or modern about it.

Huge mistake painting the exterior black and that garage door is incongruous.

These are the kinds of houses I refer to as visual pollution. This area is fulll of them. For this much money, they could have made an effort for some curb appeal. Architects that sign off in these eye sores should lose their license.

Are there no trees at all on the lot?

+1 I hate the outside. Inside is nice - warmer looking than I expected from the outside. But it's so $$$$!

Those are three of the best public schools in Maryland and (top schools even nationwide) that is definitely factored into the price.

“ Tucked away close by is the family media center where you can Netflix and chill to your heart’s desire.”

I mean, where else would you want to Netflix and chill?

It’s fantastic although I feel it might be a bit trendy. In a few years, it might be updated.

This is a very popular trend. All the new builds have this or have it as an option. I’m not quite sure I understand the appeal of this either. I think it’s supposed to be spa- like.

No beach. No ocean. No acreage. I want more for $3 million.

Here is a new build in the same school district with a more classic design. I’m guessing this is modern colonial- I’m not sure if that’s the correct name for the style. But it definitely looks kind of classic as what I mean.

Not a fan of the dark look , it should be in Colorado mountains, overall it's an average middle class home nothing too fancy. 2.7m is entry level for Bethesda. 99% of people would be ok with a home like this , a few vocal crazy people who like shacks will complain.
