Thoughts on this beautiful/modern/fresh new-build home in Bethesda. (Best schools)

I moved from the Bay Area where there were a lot of tear downs too but the new builds, at least on the average, looked more tasteful. Do we just have bad builders here? Curb appeal is often average and they cut corners on higher-end finishes.

I’ve lived all around the country and I think we have the ugliest new builds. I don’t understand it.

Too many "modern farmhouse" and or Black/white combos.

People in this area have no taste and so they don’t care. If buyers stopped buying the ugly monstrosities, builders might change their ways. But builders can throw together pretty much anything and some rich person will bite.

This home is not even close to being beautiful. IMHO, it's ugly.

Thats not right. All of those downspouts should definitely drain into dry wells.

Stunning. The dark drama of it all, it crates a cozy yet upscale vibe.

A lovely family will move in and then suddenly 3 generations will show up and they all will call it home.

That’s Arlington my friend. Bethesda zoned for Whitman has basically zero poor people (seriously).
