We need a competent leader who'll hire the best candidates to do critical jobs like running this country's transportation infrastructure, not have a leader in office who throws a bone to diversity candidates who have no idea what they're doing.

This is ridiculous. Of all the reasons not to vote for Biden, recent poor traveling experiences is what does it for you? Fine, be that way but if not voting for Biden, don't vote for Trump either because we all know our experiences with him in the White House will be much worse.

Agree OP. I travel a lot. Now when I travel in the US I expect problems. Europe not so much. It’s reliably delayed or canceled. Baggage issues haven’t been my issue but significant delays and cancellations with not effort to help. Canceling a flight from Cincinnati to DC and not have any solutions at all is not ok. A flight the next day to Chicago is not a real solution but that is what we weee offered. 8 hour delay in Seattle. 3 hours in the runway at Dulles. So long that a passenger claimed a medical emergency to get off the plan. It’s bananas now.

Just this week my wife's boss had to travel to Italy for a business trip. It was a direct friggin' flight with an American airline. The boss also paid for his wife to go because they turned it into a mini trip after the business meeting. What do you think the American airline did? Lose their baggage of course. They had to spend over $1000 each in order to buy clothing, health supplies, etc. over there.

Like how do you lose luggage on a direct friggin' flight? Of course the airline will make it possible to receive compensation for the costs incurred.

Yes, must be Biden's personal fault. The only answer is for the government to once again REGULATE the airlines like they did before the Airline Deregulation Act and Reagan's disastrous firing of striking air traffic controllers.
