Not voting for Biden because travel has gotten horrendous under him

I've now been on 3 flights domestically within the last 3 years. 2 lost baggage on a friggin direct flight, and the other had such significant delays that it ruined a lot of lodging plans and plans at the destination causing thousands in losses. Of course it has been impossible to obtain any kind of compensation because the airlines' mistakes caused major delays. I'm so done with Biden. We need a competent leader who'll hire the best candidates to do critical jobs like running this country's transportation infrastructure, not have a leader in office who throws a bone to diversity candidates who have no idea what they're doing.

You understand that reagan de-regulated the airline industry, right? And Bush created the whole airport security theater, right?

Biden created new rules for airline compensation for the circumstances you are complaining about. He also mandated that there are no more "hidden fees"

I think you haven't really been paying attention.

Just this week my wife's boss had to travel to Italy for a business trip. It was a direct friggin' flight with an American airline. The boss also paid for his wife to go because they turned it into a mini trip after the business meeting. What do you think the American airline did? Lose their baggage of course. They had to spend over $1000 each in order to buy clothing, health supplies, etc. over there.

Like how do you lose luggage on a direct friggin' flight? Of course the airline will make it possible to receive compensation for the costs incurred.

So you all are blaming the president because the airline lost baggage.

When Safeway runs out of toilet paper?

Come one folks, they are not supposed to be autocrats and they don't control what businesses do, particularly unregulated businesses.

I have taken 12 flights this year so far. Not one has lost a bag or been late, even with a few in really crappy weather. Maybe the OP needs to choose a better airline?

Also, airlines and airports were greatly affected by the pandemic. Not just in terms of demand but also supply chain issues as well as hiring/personnel issues. But again, let's not confuse MAGAs with understanding a complex issue. It's "airline travel sucks", it must be Biden's fault.

No, it means the airlines, and it is a really competitive industry, are failing to keep minimum standards. You, as a consumer, have a choice. Maybe you choose sucky airlines to save $40 on the air fare? Pony up and pay for the better service, or suck it up and fly on the economy lines.

I go back and forth to LA twice a month and have had no problems. I suspect, OP. you should look in a mirror to see the real problem with your travels.
