Even if you only fly once per year, you can inccur MASSIVE losses to the tune of thousands of dollars down the drain when airlines screw up and travel plans get delayed. Funny how all of the sudden Dems sound like they don't care about the consumer and their rights anymore when they have incompetent leaders in charge while the entire system is a gigantic dumpster fire. Thousands and thousands of people at being economically harmed by airlines, where's Mayor Pete? Just this week my wife's boss had to travel to Italy for a business trip. It was a direct friggin' flight with an American airline. The boss also paid for his wife to go because they turned it into a mini trip after the business meeting. What do you think the American airline did? Lose their baggage of course. They had to spend over $1000 each in order to buy clothing, health supplies, etc. over there. Like how do you lose luggage on a direct friggin' flight? Of course the airline will make it possible to receive compensation for the costs incurred. |
Lol. This is too funny. |
+1. They'd vote for the Orange Mussolini cause "at least the trains ran on time". Of course, he did no such thing. Remember infrastructure week? |
|
You guys do know that Pete doesn’t work in baggage claim, right?
Like, he isn’t actually at the airport working… |
Translation: no one is accountable, ever. Remember how Dems always tell us accountability should start at the top when it comes to the corporate world and when there are major instances of corporate malfeasance? Funny how that same logic doesn't apply to this country's infrastructure. Pete doesn't work on baggage, but why isn't he doing anything about the fact that the end results inflict millions upon millions of dollars in damages on the collective public when airlines screw up? Accountability starts at the top, remember? |
This is true. |
My husband used to run a major airport. This is a local issue. Some airports and airlines are just terrible. |
So where's Biden and Mayor Pete? |
He isn't anywhere working. Pete was another "identity" appointment who has failed up. |
I thought you believed in state's rights? Despite what you think, the President and the Transportation Secretary don't control airports. |
|
So now we want the government to own the airlines?
They do that in Europe, right? Isn’t the socialism? So we’re pro socialism, now? I’m just asking questions |
States don't regulate domestic and international air travel.. Good lord. |
Who talked about ownership? The federal govt already regulates them, for better or worse. If they already regulate them, then why are they getting worse? It means Biden and his transportation secretary suck at their jobs. |
Actually the airports themselves do, moron. Mostly public agencies that are autonomous entities that primarily work for the benefit of the airlines. But let's not confuse MAGAs with the facts. And let's also be honest, you would've never voted for Biden anyways so this is a stupid thread. |
You do understand that regulating something, does not mean you run something? Right? Like the government regulates many industries, but doesn’t actually run them. You do get that? Right? |
