Who knocked up his wife?

It’s not unreasonable to assume that a guy who asks you out is single.

We basically had a one night stand but then continued doing it. He said they weren’t together but the wife’s baby is his.

How romantic

Banging strangers is so gross.

I hate what online dating and reality ho shows and media influencers have normalized.

Agree with this. Detail about how he ejaculated inside of you and you just missed your period.

You people all deserve to go to hell.

This is a hormonal pregnant woman who is reeling at a vulnerable time.

The proper thing to do would be to tell her how sorry you are that you had no idea he was married, much less with a pregnant wife and give her the facts (not your nasty details) so she can make an informed decision going forward and sort through the lies she’s likely being told at home.

Have some gdamn class and empathy.

+1. Not the wife's fault. Don't devastate her any more than she already is.

+1

Give her information she can use against him, for the sake of both of you women, OP.

Adultery is pretty irrelevant in a divorce.

Try keeping your legs closed and actually verify if the guy is really single. Marriage is a public record.

Kinda harsh commentary.
OP did nothing wrong other than a failure to verify, which isn’t unusual.
It’s sad that a single woman can’t be trusting and must assume the worst in people (men) they meet.

Waiting to have sex, while utterly unfashionable now, actually creates some time to get to know a man enough you might spot some red flags. He'd have to, you know, actually talk with you, take you places in public maybe, act like he's dating a person rather than just killing time on a few initial dates until he can get you into bed. While OP did nothing wrong, well, she needs to learn how to spot red flags and/or ask the right questions, long before sex starts.

No. No. This is far too reasoned and makes too much sense. How else would OP get to enjoy the thrill of having 20 one night stands in a row with a complete stranger?

What do you suggest, Aunt Pittypat? Arranged marriage?

How about dating people that you actually know where they live and can assess whether or not they are married?

+1, especially about the class part. Who are these people.

Why do you want to be mean to somebody who is in a bad situation? Why would you encourage others to do the same?

Oh, "casual dating" is now defined as "I barely know this person but am having sex with him."

Who cares how the OP defines it. She's having sex with him if she wants to and not if she doesn't want to. Please stop trying to slut shame her.

1) bull. I've never had to "verify" that somebody was single.
2) keep YOUR legs closed and let OP have sex with whomever the F she wants.

It doesn’t matter. Why would a man answer either of these questions truthfully. You’re delusional.

+1 That's like the stupid puzzle where one troll or door or a$$hat only tells the truth and the other only tells lies. People aren't ONLY truth tellers or ONLY lie tellers.

This is absurd. Perhaps you shouldn't sleep with someone you have to think about ways to phrase questions to get a truthful answer?
