I'm the OP. My daughter (16) says people shouldn't be having sex unless they're ready to have a baby. That's how a woman can have control over her body. (*These are her views, not her parent's.)

Birds of a feather flock together. When I found out spouse’s parents were Republican I forbade her to invite them to Thanksgiving or end of the year celebrations. It has been hard on her but to have them in the house will not be good for anyone.

If you are actually an UMC white male, you should know that being a parent and being married are two separate relationships.

Plenty of conservatives cut off their kids for having different views, but most of us liberals don't do that.

My friend's daughter also said this at 16. At 18 when she got her first real boyfriend, she changed her tune completely.
