I would absolutely divorce. But honestly, I wouldn’t have married a Republican to begin with. DH had long switched parties when I met him. He left the GOP when Buchanan spoke at the 1992 Republican National Conference with him immigrant hatred.

My mother from an abusive, narcissistic conservative to off the rails crazy when Trump
entered the picture. She used to loosely follow politics. In 2015/2016, she switched to watching conspiracy theory videos on YouTube. She has been accusing me of murdering my brother in a satanic sex ritual for a few years. My brother is alive and well.

I don’t think ending a family is the answer. I would seek counseling and encourage him to do something else with his time. Watching the news isn’t really a hobby but it can really mess people up— it’s like an addiction. I am a recovering news addixt and so are my parents. Get him away from the news and social media for a while. Tell him he has to do that or you will file for divorce. I think it will help.

I'm a white upper middle class male who has always voted Democrat, and raised my 16 yo teenage daughter to have the same values.

She has said numerous things to indicate her political and personal sympathies lie with being Conservative.

Absolutely not and continue to vote to ensure she has the same rights as her mom did instead of having conservatives deny her that.

Why do you say that? The main storyline for QAnon is how Hillary Clinton, along with many other elite democrats are running a child sex trafficking ring and drink their blood for adrenochrome. Satanism is mixed in somewhere in the story.
