It was good. It’s not Homeland but I liked it better than Night Agent. |
Love , Nicole Kidmans role |
Stop it Nicole...just go with the aging process! It's ok. You look worse than aging, like you have a big thick flesh mask on....so sad you aren't confident enough with your natural beauty. |
I absolutely LOVE this show! I was a huge fan of Homeland and it sort of gives me those vibes. Nicole's face is a bit distracting but her scenes are so short, so not a big deal.
I only started watching the 2nd season, but was able to understand enough from flashbacks that I don't really feel the "need" to watch the Season 1. I adore the physical and mental strength of the women on her Joe's team and how she is there in the battle with her entire team. She's no nonsense and takes her job seriously. Based on dialogue she's had with her husband, he knew what he was getting himself into when they married. I could be wrong though, since I didn't watch Season 1. Finally, a show that I can get excited about watching each week. |
Nichole Kidman's lips and face are so freakish I can barely watch her scenes. |
I’m sorry, but I can’t stand Joe (Zoe Saldana). She is a complete bch to the young women she forces to work for her. They do her bidding and in the process, ruin their lives. Like the girl in the current season - she had to go along with a fake dishonorable discharge in order to do the job. So her life is now over. She’ll either die doing the op, or she’ll never work again. Her name and reputation are now dirt, thanks to Joe.
Meanwhile, Joe (what a stupid name) gets to return to her lovely home, sweet husband, and two girls. Her life continues. Her reputation is intact. Honestly, I would enjoy seeing karma come for her at this point. Rant over. |
Can someone explain this to me:
If there is a whole house full of security people next door to the mansion, then wouldn’t they have seen the CIA crew who came in to plant cameras? Wouldn’t the mansion *already* be covered in cameras and listening devices, all feeding into the house next door? It just doesn’t make sense. |
You are such a weirdo. I mean you know it's a show right? What happened to you in your life you are so triggered by someone with a family but still has a job that's morally challenging and by the way - in real life - it does not seem all that strange to be potentially sacrificing a lot of your well being on behalf of national security as military do. I worked with a lot of Deltas and let me tell you, it's not easy what they do and I'm not talking about skills. It psychologically the toll it takes. Seriously you have some anger issues! |
Not perfect but I really like both seasons. I like the writing. I think ZS is well cast as most are on this show. He keeps it moving but the storyline is compelling - it's not overly deep and complex but theme wise he absolutely hits the current issues we have. It's not a documentary so it's not going to be 100% realistic - typically what people gripe about - it is entertainment. If you like the writing and acting - most shows don't have both so you know - this is good enough for an hour of entertainment. I really can't stand stuff that's too complex like dramas that remind me of all my actual problems LOL I really like these shows that take me out of my daily life so I can forget about my real life and be entertained! |
OMG it's just a show - get a grip! It's an action oriented show. Who cares if NK is happy or not with her husband? Are you perfect with yours? In the context of the show she is married to and herself is someone with status. You really need to know her marriage story? That's a different drama. You must be that diner who goes into a restaurant and orders a dish without 8/10 ingredients and pisses off the chef cause you want something that is completely different than what was on the menu! Man, you gotta learn to take stuff as it is. It's a Fing action series that explores military engagement with characters who have different backstories. You aren't gonna know how happily after they make it - it's a show about what they do and how they live with what they do. Go watch Bridgeton or Outlander if you're looking for a romantic drama. And I'm a 52 yr old married mom not a man by the way - I appreciate a show that takes me out of my reality and enjoy this show for what it's worth. |
DP. Speaking of a weirdo with anger issues ^^^. The PP is reacting to a *character* - who, I agree, is drawn as a very unpleasant person. She is indeed cruel to the young women in her charge. Not sure how you could possibly dispute the fact that Joe does ruin their lives by making them become lionesses. |
DP. Looks like we’ve found actual ‘weirdo with anger issues.’ All of your posts scream projection. |
Liking Joe less and less. He husband is annoying too (that voice??), but I was actually impressed when he finally called her a c—- for totally disregarding him and their daughters.
I think Joe has main character syndrome. She can’t imagine these operations without herself at the center, controlling everything. This last one in Iraq/Iran, for example. She could have managed it from Langley just as well but instead she insists on going with the team, even with her injury. Idiot. |
Yeah, she starting to grate on me as well. There is no way her husband would have continued to put up with her acting like she’s the only one who can do the job. |
