Do all men cheat?

Anonymous
Men who don't get enough sex at home not only 100% cheat "when given the opportunity "... even beyond that these undersexed men proactively are seeking out any and all opportunity.

Men who get enough sex at home ... generally aren't actively looking for opportunities, and let's be honest there just aren't too many women actively pursuing a married man for sex, so this group of men will rarely cheat.

This is a very narrow view and understanding of why men cheat.

To that, yes, unless low drive. End of story. Lots of naive women who don't understand what testosterone does.

I don’t think this is the end of the story. A strong dedication and a moral compass will override testosterone.

Or do you just assume I’ve never been given the opportunity? That may be true, but perhaps because it’s obvious that I will say no.

It’s strange when people act as if morals and rational thought don’t exist at all and humans will only act on brute instinct like the animals. And there’s no way anyone else actually has these morals. Telling on themselves, clearly.

PP. Not all moral compasses point in the same direction. When some guys cheat, it’s not the testosterone, it’s their choice. And when some guys don’t cheat, it’s also their choice. Blaming testosterone seems like saying “it was beyond my control” and as you say this just sounds like an excuse to submit to our baser instincts.

I'm 52, work out 8-10 hours a week. I've had women hit on me, from low-key to hotel room key cards dropped in my blazer pocket with a lipstick kiss.

I was married 20 years. I'm now in a committed relationship.

I've never cheated. Not once.

Why did your marriage end?

No, only the attractive ones.
I actually wish my husband was cheating on me. But instead he’s a controlling freak who tracks my location and reads through my messages . I can’t even sneeze without him knowing about it. If he had a side piece he would maybe finally stop.

Set boundaries.

This is the correct answer. Seriously.

I am 48 and reasonably attractive man. Almost all men I know have cheated at some point. That doesn't mean "affair and other woman." It could be just ONS at a conference or kissing your co-worker or less than a full blown affair.

Now, at 48, most of us have settled down and actually just hang out.

All of that being said, of course not ALL men cheat. Some are faithful and would never, ever cheat. I think that is about 25% of men.

Very good-looking, fit, successful/$$$ are hit on constantly by women and when they are married they become even more desirable to gold-diggers. More likely to cheat, especially in very long marriages- no matter if they are happy or not.

It’s really an opportunity game.

What is this horseshit? Never have cheated. Never will. 41 years old. Call me all the names you want. But the guys I’ve known who have cheated have been pretty insecure or angry. Women don’t “hit on men” constantly. Is this some weird incel philosophy? GTFO.

Women do hit on very attractive men. They can get really grabby if they're tipsy and pretty forward.

If that doesn't happen to you...then you aren't a part of that group.

My husband does not. Nor do most of my friends husbands. My best guy friend from college tried hard to not cheat, but it’s like he can’t help himself. From 2000-2020 all his relationships ended due to cheating or his desire to stray. He now goes into relationships asking for them to be open. He wants an open marriage with kids and shockingly no woman has shared this desire.

Women hit on very attractive men who look professional and well-off. Maybe some bar-fly cougar will get grabby with someone that is just handsome, but not your typical woman.

You can never be sure of anything.

You trust your instincts and find someone you like and trust.

If they cheat, you can choose to either stay or divorce. Neither cheating nor divorce are the end of the world.

Yes, all men cheat and cheat with a coworker.
