100% agree. Planta is one example of a place he raved about that, while it's not bad, it's not good either. Especially when you factor in the prices.

The Dabney

Uninspired overpriced food and drinks.

Shouldn't it be in foods and restaurant forum?

Rasika is not overrated. It has great customer service and ambiance, wonderful food and drink. I usually crib about Rasika because I am comparing it to food I have eaten in India. For most of the Americans, this is very good food.

Have been too many restaurants on various lists but this is the one jumps to my mind when Ii read the title.

Ha! Also the very first one I thought of. I don’t dislike it at all but I’m always dismayed when I hear people talk about it as a fine dining destination.

It’s weird how I can detest someone I’ve never met.

+1 to both of these

Also afternoon tea at the Willard

I keep hoping National Cathedral will bring their tea back because I think my mom would really enjoy it.

Does Hillwood still do tea? That seems like a perfect place to take a mom.

DP and definitely not a rasika employee. I don’t think the food is bad at all, I’ve actually always enjoyed my meals there. It is WAY too expensive though.

L’auberge Chex Francois. Horrible. Only Great Falls folks who think this overpriced disgusting place is the “neighborhood joint”. Yuck. Pretentious for no reason.
