Rude. And lots of parents think their kid is at a Big 3 when they're not. So the answer OP is depends on who you're talking to. PP is an example of such insecurity they can't even be polite. People like PP really don't count. |
Maybe so but PP seems triggered too! |
This!!! |
...and excludes all Catholic schools. |
Umm - I'm PP and I've never mentioned TJ (or Blair or RM) or their programs or their admissions. Weird. |
That's not what the topic was....it was whether most of the people posting on this forum are Big 3 parents. I do not think that is the case. |
As noted above - I only mention Big 3 if answering or asking a question where it is relevant to the topic (ie it's comparing apples and oranges when some posters are at a school without weighted GPA and no APs and others are a public with both). Maybe others out themselves more frequently for their own egos - I don't. |
Isn't that most private schools though? Why not just say private school instead of Big 3? |
Not the PP - but not all private schools have the grade deflation of the Big 3 (which personally I think extends to more of a Big 6ish). Some private schools still have AP and some also weight GPAs |
No, the Catholic high schools don't grade deflate--visitation, Gonzaga SJC, etc, Landon doesn't. I don't know about others, grade deflation "Big3" style means that a decent if not strong GPA is 3.5. these other schools have many students close to or at 4.0. |
If yoy include Potomac, you’d have to include STA, GDS, Holton. I like St Anselm’s. I wonder why it is not considered a Big 3? |
| Enough with the trolling. People, be smarter. |
| I’m just gonna say it. I haaaate private school parents. Sorry. |
| Ugh - what a noxious thread. Very glad we steered clear of private school. |
I got the feeling a public school parents started this… |
