I'm a member of FCDC and have noticed that, while Karl has the support of party leaders and a bunch of random "always online" Dems, a lot of people who "love Karl" don't actually live in the district he is running to represent. And what matters at the end of the day isn't endorsements but how many of his supporters he can get out to vote in the special election.
Holly Seibold has kids in Vienna schools and is very involved in the community through her kids, not to mention BRAWS. If she can get her people out knocking doors for her, she could win. This has happened in special elections before, where the one w/the endorsements loses because another candidate has more connections in the community.
Ibrahim Samirah won his first special election by not wasting his time cowtowing to the Democratic establishment, but instead by getting his people out to vote. Holly can do the same thing.
Is Seibold a normal, old school moderste democrat? We need more of those.
