Aren’t they all |
Are you a moron? It is the clueless white dads at the pool who do this. That does not exclude the fact there are other people there. But they are the ones who act like this. |
Keep digging! You’ll get yourself out eventually
|
Uhhhh my spouse is not white and he plays with the ball and is with our non white kids all the time. |
Wrong. It's the fun loving not uptight dads who are doing this at the pool with their kids. |
this, 100% I’m thinking there’s some petty jealousy and bitterness at work here. |
I was more wondering if it was frowned upon. I'm a PP who said they were doing this last week and had no idea were annoyed by it. I never belonged to a pool growing up and I don't now with my kids.... but last week we were on vacation and the rental came with a pool (for the complex). We were throwing a squishy water ball around. I had seen people doing this at the beach so I assumed it was ok. There was one other person in the pool, but it was a little one in a puddle jumper. We were on the opposite side. Anyways, just trying to figure this out! |
Yeah. Most dads do that. ONLY SOME think the pool is their and their son’s personal football field across which they should be throwing a ball, regardless of who else it might hit. I’ve had to see women ask these men to cool it because the football kept sailing across the pool and slamming into the water next to their baby’s float. Sorry, only some men are that clueless and that boorish about a public space. |
This comment has been cracking me up all day. |
| Hi helicopter parent! |
Tell me you've never been to OCMD without telling me you've never been to OCMD. I grew up on the west coast and was used to beaches there. I couldn't believe that basically nothing was permitted at OCMD. No ball throwing, no skim boarding, etc. Laaaaame. |
| Because they’re stupid, selfish and inconsiderate. |
DP. They’re not “digging” and they don’t need to “get themselves out” of anything. They’re correct and you’re ridiculous. (insert childish emoji here) |
You don’t understand the size and space difference between the ocean and a swimming pool? |
I hope you’re 12, because otherwise, I’m so embarrassed for you. |
