I want to know what places are blackmailed/told they must pay her to be posted in there, if that’s true. That should be public knowledge asap. We would all back those owners, they shouldn’t fear coming out about it. I want to know some other answers to the accusations from that anonymous post

She kicks people out of the group if they are negative.

NP but I had no idea that they didn't allow negative feedback in this group. That defeats the purpose. I won't trust the reviews anymore.

I’m on that FB group, and it’s so annoying the way only certain restaurants are promoted, but the flavor of the month changes. There are lots of restaurants in Vienna that you never hear about at all on that page, then people are surprised when they close. Isn’t the point of the page to talk about the small restaurants that could be struggling?

You can tell they don’t allow anything other than glowingly positive because that is all that is posted there. It is such a strange page. Never trust the posts on there.

There is also some sort of spin off of Vienna Foodies where members volunteer en masse to do a service project once a year. Wonder what charity they’ve selected this year?

Yep. According to the Reddit page, if they don’t pay the admin whose initials are LR, they don’t get to be posted in VF

According to the Reddit page, the Vienna foodies admin runs the social media pages for several businesses so that would explain why they are always posted about in the group constantly.

I’ve always gotten a weird grifter vibe from her and her over-the-top dumb posts.

The group has been so obnoxious lately, it’s always the same places getting posted about and they’re not all that great. Makes so much more sense after reading the Reddit page

One Neighborhood Foundation’s website lists no board, no mission statement, nothing. You are correct - zero transparency.
