Thank you. Just googled this - only read a few of the responses so far, but it is helpful.

The League of Women Voters has a more comprehensive list, starting on p. 51. The answers are shorter but at least all of the candidates are there. https://assets.nationbuilder.com/lwvmc/pages/659/attachments/original/1655250608/VG_Primary22_hyperlinks_web_3.pdf?1655250608

I like both, honestly. It's a hard choice in that district.

I think they are both good choices and both would be much better than the other candidates in those races. Between the two, I think you need to figure out who has the better chance of winning and throw your vote there to block school choice dude.

Citation?

Just posting a statement like that doesn't make it remotely true. I'd disregard it without context.

I already sent in my ballot but I'd be sad to know she opposed gifted education. If anything the county needs to double its capacity in these programs. This would also reduce the transportation costs since busing would be over shorter distances.

They also need to get the boundary study done to help reduce unnecessary busing so spending is focused on providing teachers.

I'm guessing PP objected to this: "Restructuring GT identification and opportunities to ensure ESL students and students with special needs should be done" from one of her voter statements. I don't interpret that as being anti GT but someone else might.

Ideally, both Rivera-Oven and Guan will receive enough votes to make it through to the general election in November.

With so many folks working for MCPS ir having a family member who works for MCPS really it doesn’t matter - you are in Caracas and Madera is on the ballot.

If you want change you gotta move to another county I fear.

Otherwise I would for sanity sake avoid Apple Ballot at nearly all costs.

ANYONE but the New Dawn/Clean Slate crew. A trumper, Twitter Keyboard warrior, and woman who thinks running a church budget is the same as overseeing a multi-billion dollar budget. If you think MCPS is bad now, these 3 will be the iceberg that sinks the ship!

Yeah, no. “Moderately MoCo” and “Clean Slate MoCo” are clearly pals with Dawn, Fryar, and Wells. There are more qualified candidates out there that are neither incumbents, nor Apple ballot endorsed, but they’re oddly silent about them

I am not a fan of these anonymous accounts. They could be Dawn, Fryar, and/or Wells themselves— it’s impossible to know. So shady.

Not Dems per se, because the BOE election is nonpartisan.

Uh, the race may be nonpartisan, but Fryar, Wells, and Fahmy are all registered Republicans: https://twitter.com/gunsensemelissa/status/1545129870220484608?s=21&t=wyPQgB9JDmWdcOIDrNT1wg
