Pete Davidson expected to leave SNL

I don’t think the following would be missed, they don’t add anything to the show

Mikey Day
Alex Modfet
Chris Redd
Bowen Yang

These ladies may become the stand outs
Melissa Villasenor
Sarah Sherman

Pete doesn't do a lot of different characters. He can be funny, but it's not a huge loss.

Agree with this!

Eek, I just saw Weekend Update where Pete Davidson said his official “goodbye!” He sounded genuinely grateful for the opportunity that Lorne gave him plus he appeared very sincere and humble in his very touching send-off. He has grown by leaps and bounds since 2014 in so many ways. He definitely has improved in so many ways, he has never looked healthier (by the way for anyone that cares) Pete is NOT ugly, he is good looking and super handsome in my eyes.
And he is the best comedian. His self-deprecating humor is so unique to Pete and Pete only.

He couldn’t have made his point any better, by saying maybe the guy in front of the 7-11 may just be the next Pete Davidson! 🪄💫✨

Good. He sucked.

Unfunny “comedian” leaves show nobody watches.

…..umm great?

I have enjoyed Sarah Sherman's (hope I have her name right) spots on the news segment poking fun at Colin Jost. She actually made me laugh out loud. She is funny. I hope they give her more time.

I don't mind Aidy Bryant, but I felt like she played the same character over and over again: the mom over 50. I don't know...it wasn't bad but it didn't help her break out.

Who cares? The devastating news is about Kate McKinnon. She is amazing.

I love Kyle Mooney.

Kate and Aidy will leave a huge hole in the cast.

Pete was a charity case. Lorne felt bad about losing Belushi and Farley. He should have intervened rather than ignore the drugs and partying on set. He literally wrapped support around Pete to save him. I bet he’s relieved that Pete is moving on.

Wow. This is mean. And I seriously doubt that Lorne is “relieved” that Pete is moving on. Because he will still be working alongside him in Pete’s new show.

It's the natural cycle of SNL...it's nothing new. It's even happening for decades. Chevy Chase, Akroyd, Steve Martin , for starters...Adam Sandler was bitter for years about his forced departure, and the list goes on.

Don't worry, Kate and Aidy will make appearances much to the crowd's pleasure...probably be part of the 5x Club and become household names in their own rite like the dozens and dozens of SNL comedians before them.

It really is. She is great and can play almost any character.

This is what I will miss about Pete doing Sat. Night Live the most. His humorous musical/rap videos were the very best. As on point, this one is just awesome. He will be missed.

He's not my cup of tea, but everyone's tastes are different. I have nothing against the guy, and if it works for him to leave, good on him.
