Pete Davidson expected to leave SNL

I wonder if Kate will do a talk show similar but different than Ellen’s. There really is no good daytime talk show host to take over for Ellen. Supposedly Kelly Clarkson will take her time slot. I like Kelly but she talks too much and doesn’t give her guests time to answer the questions.

Kyle and Pete have finally been pulling their weight this year. Both of them had been doing their specialized schtick, and especially in Kyle’s case it wasn’t funny. They finally have been doing journeyman roles in sketches this year and have been much better.

He was rumored to be departing last season, but within an entire year his fame has quadrupled. Last year most people had never seen or heard of this clown.
After dating Kimberly K., he can now leave Saturday Nite Live because he can command fans now at the box office. His movie “The King of Staten Island” was actually mildy entertaining and his acting was okay. I think there is a chance that he can make it as an actor.
Plus he is not as ugly as people are saying. He is no Brad Pitt but he sure looks much better onscreen than Benedict Cumberbatch, Jared Leto and Owen Wilson combined.

I loved both of those

Not a Pete Davidson fan either and have not missed him in skits since he always breaks his character.
Guy cannot even play straight for a four minute sketch.
His laughing is very old at this point, he adds nothing to the sketches.

But DAMNNN.
His music videos are much needed.
His musical talent along with Chris Redd, etc. is off the hook.
I especially loved his “Stan” Eminem Xmas video, his “Squid Game” one and most recently his rap with Gunna about liking “short a#%” movies…..
I say he forgets acting and doing comedy. He should go directly into hip hop or rap because that is where his talent really lies.

Okay perhaps I need a new prescription for my current frames but in both of these YouTube links Pete Davidson looks so adorably cute. Why am I the only person who can see this? I mean Jost is hot but looks so ordinary when seated next to Pete.

these are great because they are basically just him doing stand up. i think pete is funny but was never a great fit for snl because he’s not an actor. his update segments and digital shorts are enjoyable.

i think snl just has good music production people. the lonely island days were the peak for the music videos.

Nothing wrong with your glasses. Pete is good looking. He has an interesting looks and lots of charisma.

Cecily Strong gets my vote as best cast member. She's so versatile and really funny. Never breaks. A true professional.

Pete doesn't do a lot of different characters. He can be funny, but it's not a huge loss.
