We still haven't answered OP's question.
I would assume small envelope equalled an unfavorable outcome. Better to be happily surprised than totally let down. I would bet on it being unfavorable news if it came from Landon, SAES, Lowell, or Potomac because we know that they have communicated or otherwise shown likelihood of sending packages early on. Exception: Any mail from GDS could be a good sign because they specifically said they would not send to everyone. |
Do Landon and SAES send rejection letters by mail? I thought they simply notified you through Ravenna. |
| so is SAES the only school confirmed showing up in Informed Delivery? |
| In our case we applied to Bullis as well, but the other poster said they only applied to SAES and are scheduled to receive a package from Potomac. |
No, don’t assume that. Some schools may notify by email/Ravenna/school portal today then put their package/envelope in the mail this afternoon. I don’t even know if all schools send packages/snail mail. |
We applied to Bullis too, and did not receive any package notification, nor was there anything in our Informed Delivery. |
same here - and i have received mail and packages this week! |
| I can’t imagine many schools (except the terrible one mentioned by PP) would send mail notification for a rejection, when online is faster and easier? Not to mention most applications are submitted online. |
That’s good to know. I guess if they don’t send you anything, it’s a no go? |
That's what I'm assuming. Tough year. |
You dodged a bullet with the conservative Christian school. Even if you are a conservative Christian why would you want to be part of that toxic group. |
Might be a package of swag!! |
| I signed up for USPS informed delivery this morning. Said nothing was arriving today, but just got a package from Beauvoir! |
Mailman just came and didn’t bring us anything from SAES. |
Do you live in MoCo? May take longer to get to VA. |
