| Is it just me or have they all gotten very unlikeable? |
| Happy to have it back, but I've always thought that the actors are better than the script or plot. They really sell the mediocre material and unrealistic plot twists. |
Yeah, I don't think its as well done as Breaking Bad was, for example. |
You might want to look up the word "relatively." |
Well given Hollywood's propensity to advertise the age of actresses by knocking off a few years for public consumption, I wouldn't be surprised if she was actually even older - she definitely looks it. |

| The PI character seems unnecessary |
The plot has gotten way to outrageous. The earlier seasons were better. Seems to have gotten out of control once the casino thing started. |
I binged it yesterday. Wendy loves this life. |
| I still can’t get past how they handled the naive preacher and his pregnant wife. |
|
Watched the first 3 episodes. Each one gets better IMHO.
The hole keeps getting deeper and wider. Story lines may be outrageous but they are all believable. They cannot get out of the predicament and at the same time, not sure they really want to. The faux Sackler family piece is also a nice touch and relates to one one of the best lines I’ve heard on t.v. … in episode 3. You’ll know it when you hear it. |

Well, glad they're ending the Show S4. I think its running out of steam.
Jason Bateman is just annoying now. I mean if you interacted with his character in real life, you'd know in a split second that he's lying 99% of the time. He's so bad at flailing and trying to act when he has to come up with impromptu lies. |
I love his matter of fact tone of voice. I find his occasional stammer cute. The character is brilliant. Brilliant people don't behave or talk like average people. |
| Wendy is such a piece of doodoo. |
Yes I agree. Also his warmth, a familial warmth towards Ruth is unwavering. I agree that Wendy is 100% unlikeable now. She had saving graces before, but since she had Ben killed it's like she has become entirely 1 dimensional and just nasty or manipulative, or both. Charlotte suddenly being aligned to Wendy doesn't ring true - and is a mechanism for showing the gulf between Wendy's relationship with each of her kids. Jonah is one of the best characters (and actors) in the show, however. I'm interested in the 2nd half of season 4. I predict the PI is going to try to take Wendy down for the murders of Helen & Ben. |
