So why did white people get a larger piece of the pie? |
Really? So the reports about FCPS board member's anti-Asian agenda are fake news? |
No action is being taken to deliberately reduce the population of students of Asian descent at TJ. The action being taken is to help others who haven't had the same opportunities, and the reduction in the number of those of Asian descent is a byproduct of that action. I don't understand how you are missing this. No one is deliberately trying to get rid of Asian students at TJ. |
We’re white people also under served then? Otherwise, why was the white student number increased as a result of the TJ reform? Is that also a byproduct? |
|
Lol. Classic. You ppl are so ignorant |
There is no race, idiot. It’s a social construct. Additionally, PP said African Americans you racist mouth breather |
So attacks and demonization on Asians by FCPS and liberals on this board before the TJ reform weren’t deliberate? |
| And we all fueled hate against Spanish people by reference to the Spanish Flu. |
DP.. if there is no "race", then why are liberals so obssessed with racial equality? |
Better be ignorant than stupid I guess. |
I will not defend the FCPS school board member. She's making the same mistaken assumptions as those here on DCUM, which points at herself thinking it's about race without even being self-aware of it. Again, from an objective point of view, it is not an attack on Asians. Yes, I admit Asians are the affected majority, but it is done for the sake of lessening importance on test prep and Asians are not deliberately targeted just for being Asian. |
“It’s what they do, not what they say.” Your statement is so empty. |
Do you want to go by representation at TJ vs. percentage of the FCPS population? Every group other than Asian is massively underrepresented at TJ |
+1000 and I'll copy-paste it again so others can re-read it multiple times to understand the basic math of a zero-sum situation. Go read the Wikipedia article. "No action is being taken to deliberately reduce the population of students of Asian descent at TJ.
