But then how would they get that sweet, sweet attention? |
No, sorry. Were not platring the But Teen Suicide Card anymore. It's manipulative and pathetic. Be better. |
If you think those countries are handling the pandemic better, please feel free to move there. We don't live in "other countries." |
Of course they do and it's your damn fault. Whiners raise whiners. |
Then keep them home, please and thank you. |
Careful. Your privilege is showing. |
Your privilege is showing with your luxury to send your kids in person. Not everyone is blessed with your good health. Must be nice. |
Find me a country that REQUIRES masks in childcare for kids under 6. |
Ridiculous, and elitist, comment. Millions of parents in this country can't afford to move abroad. Much easier solution would be for the United States to align with the universal consensus of literally thousands of experts and every other country's public health agency in the world. |
I have deliberately never complained about masks in front of my kids. Why is hard to believe/acknowledge that they would find them uncomfortable? Do you realize they are actually little humans with the same needs for comfort, verbal comprehension, and connection as us? |
Suicide numbers have gone down in teh last 10 years, not up. |
Oh woah I must have been in a coma, the pandemic started 10 years ago?????? |
These responses are insane and true demagoguery stuff. It’s not “if you don’t feel “x” policy is in the best interest of your child, find a place that has “y” policy.” It’s “we are going to make “y” policy illegal and the only way for you to operate in the best interest of your kid is to no longer be in the workplace.” Absolutely unbelievable. Fascists, every one of you. |
| Yeeeaaa....it's a little intellectually lazy to write it off as fascism. More like: that's how viruses work. They don't make exceptions for people who prefer "y policy" and those people impact the rest of the community and by extension, the world's ability to ever end the pandemic. |
This is not "how viruses work," as evidenced by the fact that no other country masks children under 6 and have seen no increased spread in that age group or in the community as a result. Masking children in diapers is a policy choice, not a pandemic inevitability, and it's one that makes us compete global outliers. |
