Why are you deleting posts that omicron is mild?

But maybe you guys should considering moving back to the former Soviet Union (isn’t that where your wife is from)? Because I just saw that Russia is enforcing COVID green passes now. Probably something similar or in the works in Georgia given how little they value freedom there. Thankfully that will not happen in the DMV.

Someone who is currently outside the US is telling me to go back to where my wife came from (while using a service that I own, no less)? I think you have really lost the plot. If/when you are back in the DC area, you will find that quite a few places are requiring covid vaccinations or a negative tests for entry. I'm sure this violates your claimed right to spread disease, but as the saying goes, your rights end where mine begin.

I’m not telling you what to do or where to go, just that there are countries that seem to adhere closer to your personal views. Many EU countries are similar. And I will be back in DC next week, so if you have a list of restaurants or places that are enforcing vaccine mandates, please let me know. That would be helpful, as I am not aware of any. Thanks.

DC adheres pretty closely to my views thank you. But, by the same token, maybe you would feel more comfortable in a country with leadership that holds pro-covid views such as your own. Perhaps Brazil would be a better destination?

You have it wrong. Putting you fools in camps would just create a huge breeding ground for variants. I would line you up and give you shots. My goal would be to save lives rather than risk killing them (your preferred option). You are correct about my disdain for you, however.

DP, but this strikes me as horrifying. Are you honestly saying you would vaccinate people against their will, Jeff? If so, wow. Not even Austria or Germany are doing that.

You are spreading a virus to people against their will. I guess I would accept that in lieu of being vaccinated, you could agree to pay the medical costs and death benefits for all those that you expose.

I realize this is hyperbolic posturing, but how on earth would you purport to calculate and enforce that? And where do we stop? What about people who refuse to get flu shots? Or people who speed? Or people who drive recklessly on those little scooters? Or people who leave banana peels on the ground? Should we ostracize and/or make them all pay too? The world is full of risks and dangers. If you can’t accept that, then maybe it’s you who should stay home.

People like you are massive hypocrites. I guarantee you'd file a wrongful injury lawsuit if you got hit by a drunk driver.

Yes, I’m sure I would feel comfortable there. But if you think DC adheres so closely to your views, why is there no blanket vaccine requirement for public spaces (as in NY, SF, and much of Europe)? Unless and until that happens, I am confident I will feel comfortable in DC too.

NP. It is bizarre to me when people come on here and yell at Jeff about the website that he owns, that they are using at no charge.

Calm down fangirl. He’s hardly running this thing as a charity. We’re his “customers” and the management is often quite surly and cranky!

But it's his business. What makes you think he wants you as his customer? Do all of us a favor and move on.

I guess there’s no use for a Website Feedback forum then.

NP.

Yes -- if you don't like it, nobody is forcing you to stay. Why are you even here?

Just so you have to consider different viewpoints once in awhile, as hard as this is for you to do.

We have considered your viewpoints and rejected. It wasn't hard at all to be honest. Now, move on please.

You really think that you are staying at a place objectionable and unpleasant to you, just for the sake of other people's betterment? Altruistically?

No. You just can't let go.

No one is “considering your viewpoint.” You’re just regurgitating the same tired nonsense and we are rolling our eyes at your ignorance and entitlement.
