What’s the most condescending work compliment you’ve received?

I'm trying to understand what the person's role has to do with anything?

Well, you know why the gender pay gap is fake, right?

It's because men choose high-paying careers like doctor, lawyer, accountant. Women choose careers like Lady Doctor, Lady Lawyer, Lady Accountant.

Huh. Seems obvious to me.

I had used it as a compliment because I admire it. I am not articulate and it is very frustrating to me so I notice when others are.

I had the same thought process when saying that as a compliment to others. I attended a micro trigger class at work and the instructor (AA female) said this was one of hers. I asked her at break why as I didn’t think it was an insult. She explained why so now I understand how it can be. I do not sound articulate at all so I’d love someone to say that to me

You articulated the above response pretty well.

My boss asked me and two other female attorneys to tell our big boss about our husbands.

Does anyone think that Articulate Storyline was created as a racist jab? It's an e-learning development tool.

Part of "diversity and inclusion" is to make women feel welcome in the workplace by not reducing them to their motherhood status, or making fun of their physicality when they are pregnant. Ya dig?
