This. R's don't have the infrastructure for massive fraud. They generally just rally on a weekend, then go to the polls before or after work. That just doesn't work anymore though so they should lose handily. |
Virgina has close proximity to the Nations Capital. It has the Pentagon, the CIa, Norfolk, lots of weapons contractors. I'd argue Virgina is exceedingly more consequential than California. California is going to sink under its own weight. They can't even solve the homeless problem. It's what happens when you only care how things look and not how things are. |
+1 Not only are they lazy, but they’re also stupid. |
Bookmarked this, thanks |
If election results aren't anywhere near poll results, that would be concerning. |
Anyone want to bet this post isn't going to age well? Tell you what. Meet me here Wednesday morning at 9:00 and we'll see! |
My relatives in CA were talking to me about the upcoming VA elections. It's been on national news as well. |
| Welp, I voted straight R for the first time in my life. I’m a new VA resident and am giddy about this election. I spent the whole pandemic in DC feeling very alone - mocked as a murderer for wanting school to open, hearing endless nonsense like “looting is a form of free speech”, blah blah blah. I heard so much stupidity - I was on the verge on an aneurysm (and my tongue was bloody from being bitten) when the moving truck FINALLY arrived. The lunacy of the past year has made me a die hard Republican. I don’t see myself going back. I wonder if there are more like me? |
Yes. And welcome - both to Virginia, and to the side of sanity. I predict you're going to like both very much! |
Thank you! We are truly thrilled to be here. |
They won’t be. TM is going to win by a margin that comfortably surpasses the poling. And yes - bookmark this post. |
Enthusiasm does not equal votes. When more people vote, Democrats win, and VA made it very easy to vote. |
Especially for convicted felons! Ol’ Terr fired up that autopen in time to put Hillary over the top in 2016 |
I think your numbers are way off the mark. Your analysis doesn't hold water. The only people still angry about Trump are rabid Ds. The rest of us realize he's not on the ballot and will have no influence on running Virginia. I think you are highly underestimating the anger people have for Ds right now. If you are with the campaign, you are tipping your hand as to setting up some BS fraud scenario. TMac is not a likeable guy and has ticked off many with his words and tactics. Independents are breaking hard for Youngkin as are many moderate Ds over the school issue. The final issues where you are completely off the mark are where you state Joe is enjoying solid popularity and the economy is roaring, lol. Uh idk where you get that idea, but he is not popular right now and people are feeling the effects of inflation in their every day lives. You sound very young and naive. |
If internals show that wide of a margin, there would be no need to trot out all the heavy hitters to campaign for him and no need to trot out fake WS with tiki torches. He appears like a desperate candidate, not someone with a comfortable lead. You may want to have some meds ready for Wednesday. |
