What the hell is going on with Demi Lovato?

What's "going on" with them? Childless and almost 30. They have no purpose, they have squandered their fertility prime & peak beauty (to attract a mate) on partying, "dating" and other pointlessness. Now they confront 30 childless and alone, thus they are depressed and getting nuts.

I am not sure Selena Gomez is recommended to have any children as she has had a kidney transplant- related to her Lupus.

Being a survivor of rape, Demi Lovato needs empathy more than anything else.

Not being healthy enough or lacking fertility doesn't delete the instinct and desire to be a mother, taking care of children, and raising heirs. It's in our DNA. Being a genetic dead-end causes women and men (ex. incels) to go nuts.

What is most crazy about this incredibly antiquated and misogynistic post is that it says that infertility, something many many many many women struggle with and deal with is a more likely reason that Demi Lovato is messed up than the plethora of incredibly obvious reasons (sexual assault as a minor, being a child star, being a drug addict, ODing to the point of brain damage, long history with depression and self esteem issues).

She is just an extremely damaged person with an extremely large microphone so you are bearing witness to her mental health struggles. Give empathy, she will likely never find real happiness.

+1

Thank you for this empathetic post. I don’t think people realize how much suffering mental illness causes. My sister struggles with several mental health issues and every day is difficult for her. She will never be truly happy.

So..non binary people don't want to be labelled. Isn't "they/them" a label? It is confusing. Why not "Thee/thou/thine", which are singular, but still a label.

Depends on the person.

Seriously, they/them is just very hard to use in everyday language referring to a singular individual.

I’m cool with using preferred pronouns, but this requires a LOT of thought about how to work it into regular speech patterns

I agree Demi is an incredibly damaged person. And I think the pronoun stuff is a way to get past/over the broken engagement from the whirlwind covid romance.

Hard to watch the self-destruction unfold

Completely agree. Demi has enormous talent, but is so deeply damaged by mental health struggles including depression and anxiety, eating disorders, being sexually assaulted as a minor and as an adult (including the night of her OD when was unconscious), drug addiction, binge drinking, stress from bankrolling her entire family’s lifestyles (none of them work), trust issues from childhood with an absent parent and being thrust in the spotlight, terrible choices when it comes to relationships, almost dying and now being left with a TBI so severe they can no longer drive. Demi is unlikely to ever be “good” or “ok” — too much deep, unresolved trauma.

Seeing long term ex bf Wilmer engaged and then have a baby with Amanda Pacheco likely drove her over an edge.

It's "interesting" to me when people like you can boil down someone's incredibly complicated life and trauma history to "she's hung up on a guy." Give me a break with this crap. Women are more than partners to men. Give this trope a rest already.

The average age of marriage in the US is 32 now. For a female it's 31 and for a male it's 33. You must be much older to have this mindset and nobody should have a child to have purpose in life. That's not what children are for.

She has an untreated mental health issue I'm guessing bipolar.

I feel bad for her. She it’s clearly going through mental health issues and in the public eye.

I think Lilo probably has a mental health issue, I also think she experienced other trauma as a child, if I recall correctly their was a lot of domestic violence in her home, so multiple issues there.

I feel for all 3 ladies, in the case of Amanda, it seems her family does their best to look after her make sure she gets treatment and people don't take advantage of her.

I do too, what's sad is that it seems she's got no one around her family or friends to reach out to her and see she gets some help., just a bunch of users.

Bieber, Spears… gosh, even the “successful” ones like Augilera and Gomez have had pretty obvious struggles.
