Demi has enormous talent, but is so deeply damaged by mental health struggles including depression and anxiety, eating disorders, being sexually assaulted as a minor and as an adult (including the night of her OD when was unconscious), drug addiction, binge drinking, stress from bankrolling her entire family’s lifestyles (none of them work), trust issues from childhood with an absent parent and being thrust in the spotlight, terrible choices when it comes to relationships, almost dying and now being left with a TBI so severe they can no longer drive. Demi is unlikely to ever be “good” or “ok” — too much deep, unresolved trauma. [/quote]
